Labour Councillor for Bridgend (South Wales), Iestyn Tudor Davies stood accused of carrying out sex attacks on a girl while his Magistrate Wife Pamela slept just yards away in the next bedroom.

The Labour Party Paedophile Councillor was Chairman of Brackla Community Council in Bridgend South Wales sexually abused the little girl when she was only 9 years old. When his wife Pamela (who was herself a Judge) slept in bed, the child was taken by Davies into his bed in another room where he Sexually abused the child. The child was abused at least three times on separate occasions, When his wife was sleeping.

Prosecutor Tim Evans said that the child had hugged her mother and said "Mummy, I've got a secret" The child was worried that Davies would get her into trouble if she told her mum, or that it would be her fault for letting him touch her. The little girls mother rang the police.

Davies was arrested and questioned by South Wales Police about the paedophile attacks on the child. Davies admitted he had been in the same bed as the 9 year old child. "Tell me. Why would a 50 year old Labour Councillor want to share a bed with a child?"

Outcome:

The Judge brought in a Guilty verdict and told Davies "You will serve 7 years for what you have done to this poor child"

Along with the jail sentence, Davies was placed on the Sex Offenders Register for life in 2005.
