All of the personal information we process is what we have pulled from the internet, from your constituents, from news clippings
and news agencies, and from the government themselves (via their websites and offices).
We use the information that we hold on our database to enable us to provide content for research and news-gathering to our end-users
that connect to our services provided to them on the UKPoliticians.com website.
We do not pro-actively share this information with third parties, but it is available for third-parties to access this information. There is no way to externally bulk-pull this data.
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
How we store your personal information
Your information is stored securely on our own servers, where only certified members of staff have any kind of access to both the physical server, and to the digital data it contains.
We do not use an external company (such as google, Amazon, Microsoft) to host any of our services, nor do we use them to cache our website or data accessed through it. All of our data, and the
servers they are stored on, and the medium for their transmission are located within the UK.
We will keep this data until it is no longer needed for our purposes. After this period we will then dispose of this data by deleting it from our live database, and then by allowing it
to 'fall-off' our backups (usually after 12 months of backup tapes have been created).
